Aluminum Thermal-Break Windows

Not all “aluminum windows” are the same! Our commercial-grade aluminum windows feature a thermal break that separates the inside metal from the outside metal with very high-density catalyzed polyurethane. These windows set our aluminum lines apart from conventional, old-fashioned typical aluminum windows that have no thermal breaks. Among those that do, be careful to make sure you notice the differences. For example, ours feature wide thermal breaks in the jambs, heads, sills, and all sashes of our windows; and the breaks align for maximum thermal performance. Lesser windows have thinner breaks, may not align, and may even have no thermal break in their sashes or sills. Our windows fight condensation and have significantly better insulating values than any cheap “builder grade” aluminum window.
Commercial Windows and Architectural Windows available.

Window Types
In addition to materials, window variables include the number of panes, how they are hinged, how they operate, and how much ventilation they offer.
Here's a look at the various window types.

Awning Style
Awning windows offer ventilation and versatility
Awning style windows are hinged at the top and swing outward from the bottom to let air in. Their small size gives you greater versatility in your window placement — high on the wall, above or below another window, or atop a door. Awning windows can be used in multiples or in combinations with other windows to add character to your home.
Commonly known as: top hung windows, top hinged windows, crank out windows, retractable windows

Casement Style
A popular choice for replacement, casement windows are hinged on one side and open outward from the turn of a handle. Their uncluttered views and outward opening design allow for optimal natural light and air flow.
Commonly known as: crank windows, side hinge windows, side hung windows, hinged windows
Note, however, that window air conditioners cannot be installed in casement windows.

Double-Hung Windows
Double hung windows (“sash” windows) are a classic favorite and popular choice. The lower inside sash slides up and an upper outside sash slides down, improving air circulation and making full screens ideal.
Double-hung are easy to clean since you can tilt the sash on any of the windows in our tests. They’re also a smart choice if you plan to install a window air conditioner, though most now have a fairly high trim on the sill that may require significant shimming to stabilize the air conditioner.
Our double-hung windows are better at keeping out cold air or water. That’s important if you live in a chilly, windy area (hello, OKC!) or if your home is the Oklahoma panhandle or other cold windy region.
Commonly known as: sash windows, hung sash windows

Single-Hung Windows
Single-hung replacements combine classic style with practicality
A popular choice for replacement, single-hung windows offer affordability and a classic look. They can be operated from the bottom for ventilation, making them practical and efficient.
They look like double-hung, but only the bottom sash moves. (They usually cost less as a result.) The top sash is sealed to keep out cold air and water.
Commonly known as: single sash windows, single-hung sash windows

Horizontal Sliding Windows
Sliding windows offer simplicity and a sleek look
Sliding windows have one fixed sash and a moving sash that glides horizontally alongside the other. This replacement style is most loved for its ease of accessibility, wide design and flat, compact profile.
Commonly known as: horizontal sliding windows, gliding windows, slider windows

Custom Window Replacement
Custom windows can make your home one of a kind
Custom windows are built to meet your personal style or the unique design of your home. Open to your imagination, size, shape, and style options are seemingly endless.

Bay or Bow Replacement Windows
Bay windows extend outside to add space inside and bow windows carve out curved new nooks.
Both windows extend beyond the walls of your home to add extra room indoors. With a combination of four or more windows, they provide more design options — and more daylight and airflow — in limited wall space.
Commonly known as: Oriel window, Projection window, 90-degree angle window, 45-degree bay window, 30-degree bay window, box bay window, square bay window, compass window

Special Shape Windows
Special shape windows provide a variety of design possibilities and put worldly style within your reach!
Special shape windows come in a variety of shapes and styles, from smooth curves to contemporary angles. Choose from over 20 standard shapes to craft a custom look for your home.

Storm Windows
Storm windows once dominated the replacement window market. Today, storms still present an economical opportunity to prevent energy loss through existing windows and fights noise pollution as well. They can be fitted with a number of glazings, such as tinted glass and are available with optional solar screens. Storms remain an economical alternative to complete window replacement.
Our designs feature single hung and single slider storms in a Double-Track system while our exclusive Triple-Trak designs feature double hung and double slider storms in a three-track system. Picture windows and shapes are also available. Storm windows are carefully installed upon the exterior of your existing windows to provide an additional barrier against adverse weather conditions and provide a more comfortable environment in your home. Our storm windows in this System are made-to-order in custom sizes to meet your unique needs and are available in Mill Finish (unpainted aluminum), White, Tan, or Bronze.
